Your immune system is important in protecting your body from viruses, bacteria and cancer. Learn more about your amazing immune cells and listen to talks from scientists about immune cells, viruses, vaccines and allergies at this free event.
From 10.30 – 11.30am and 12.00 – 1.00pm five scientists will be giving short talks to answer the following:
- Who are your immune cells?
- What is a virus?
- How does a vaccine work?
- Why do people have allergies?
- How can immune cells fight cancer?
You can also visit the Science Fair where you can talk to scientists and researchers about their work and visit their interactive displays and games.
