Tony Joyner joined the Board of the Lions Eye Institute in 2013. He has more than 30 years’ experience as a commercial and corporate lawyer and for nine years was the Managing Partner of the Perth office of international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, where he is currently employed as a partner and Global Head of Technology. He sat on the global board of the firm for nine years, and chaired its Risk Management and Audit Committee. He is also a board member of the WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
