Tania joined the Lions Eye Institute in 2018. She has had a diverse career in all areas of stakeholder relations, including senior roles with the Minderoo Group, Rio Tinto and ANZ. A former business journalist at The Age and Courier-Mail newspapers, Tania has worked in media and government relations, cross-sector collaboration and partnerships, philanthropy and corporate communications. She sits on the Board of not-for-profit creative organisation FORM.
As Chief of Staff and Company Secretary, Tania has both an executive management and advisory role and supports the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in driving strategy, initiatives and governance, and with stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally. She also has accountability for the communications and philanthropy functions of the Institute.
