Peter Forbes joined the Board of the Lions Eye Institute in 2014 and was elected Chairman in 2017. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is board member of the East Metropolitan Health Service, Chair of the Local Government Indemnity Scheme, and external member of the Law Society of WA’s Professional Indemnity Insurance Management Committee.
