Allison Ross was appointed Director People and Culture in April 2021. She is responsible for leading the Lions Eye Institute’s People and Culture team, with a focus on developing and implementing the organisation’s strategic people goals. Allison is also responsible for delivering best practice people functions including recruitment, learning and development, human resources business partnering and employee relations in support of the organisation’s culture and values.
Allison is a qualified human resources practitioner and change manager, with more than 20 years’ experience providing strategic leadership, advice and operational delivery across all aspects of human resources. Allison’s career spans a diverse range of organisational contexts and industry sectors in the UK and Australia – in both ASX listed organisations and not-for-profit. She has led human resources functions in banking and finance, higher education and aged care.
